DECIBEL, the robust and productive potato!
DECIBEL is a robust and productive potato with yellow skin and flesh.
Born in 2020 in Châteauneuf-du-Faou (29), at the Germicopa Research Station, DECIBEL is the fruit of a long process of 10 years during which research, respectful of nature’s cycles, will select the best potato varieties according to agronomic, commercial and taste criteria.
DECIBEL is part of the core market in the multipurpose segment, for use in the oven-mashed-soup, but is also intended for home French fries until the mid- season.
Without any major defects, with a homogeneous health profile and very good physiological robustness, DECIBEL ensures a very good level of productivity even in stressful and difficult conditions.
Its yield is due to its large size and approximately 10 tubers per plant, oblong in shape. Easy to produce, it is a variety that has real advantages also in conservation over the medium and long term.
